Get the date and time automatically in your reports!

Learn how to automatically retrive the date and time of your fields and your entries on your customized reports or emails!

Tip 1: Customize your reports with the Date and Time field.

Using the Date and Time field you can automatically obtain the date and/or time you have previously entered.

You can customize it with the following tags:

Your date field:Your Time Field:Your Date and Time Field:

Take as an example the date December 31, 2010.

  • Date:##date## -> 31/12/2010
  • Date in iso format:##date:iso## -> 2010-12-31
  • Year:##date:year## -> 2010
  • Month:##date:month## -> 12
  • Month in letters:##date:month:label## -> december
  • Week:##date:week## -> 52
  • Day:##date:daynumber## -> 31
  • Day number in that week:##date:weekday## -> 5
  • Day of the week in letters:##date:weekday:label## -> friday
  • Short text format:##date:short## -> 31 Dec. 2010.
  • Average sized text format:##date:medium## -> December 31, 2010.
  • Long text format:##date:long## -> Friday 31 December 2010.

Let’s take for example the time 11:40.

  • Time:##hour## -> 11:40
  • Display hour without minutes:##hour:hour## -> 11
  • Minutes:##hour:minute## -> 40

Take for example December 31, 2010, 11:40.

  • Date and Time:##date_and_time## -> 31/12/2010 11:40
  • Year:##date_and_time:year## -> 2010
  • Month:##date_and_time:month## -> 12
  • Month in letters:##date_and_time:month:label## -> december
  • Week:##date_and_time:week## -> 52
  • Day:##date_and_time:daynumber## -> 31
  • Number of the day in that week:##date_and_time:weekday## -> 5

  • Only the date:##date_and_time:dateonly## -> 31/12/2010

  • Only the hour:##date_and_time:hour## -> 11
  • Only the minutes:##date_and_time:minute## -> 40

Tip 3: Get the date and time of your data.
